Statement on Compliance with REACH

In the European Union, chemicals are mainly regulated by Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH).

Chemifloc Group has successfully completed the registration phases in 2010, 2013 and 2018 for chemical substances above 1000 t/a, 100 t/a and 1 t/a, respectively. Additional registrations may be executed in the future, for example to cover newly developed products or supplier changes.

Products supplied by Chemifloc Group comply with the applicable chemical regulations, with special reference to REACH and its amendments, as detailed below:

• All Chemifloc Group products supplied by the above-mentioned legal entities are registered or exempted from registration. This includes raw materials used in Chemifloc Group products.
• The Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for products supplied by the Chemifloc Group in the EU or European Economic Area (EEA) are being continually updated in line with the applicable legal requirements with the information required by REACH after a substance has been registered by Chemifloc Group or after we have received relevant new information.
• The presence of Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC) on the Candidate List for Authorisation and the presence of substances on Annex XIV of REACH (Authorisation List), are communicated in the EU/EEA-SDS from Chemiflco Group in section 3 if the content exceeds the applicable legal threshold. • The presence of substances on Annex XVII of REACH (Restriction List) is communicated in the EU/EEA-SDS from Chemifloc Group in section 15 if the content exceeds the applicable legal threshold. A separate statement on Annex XVII is available.
